What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Vinyl wrapped the rear bumper black!

 

Installed a flip up license plate mount on the bruteforce HC and dropped the WD hitch to the lowest setting (which isn't going to be low enough unfortunately).




Had to enlarge the mounting holes but this flip up works and seems pretty solid...time will tell.

I did some troubleshooting to figure out that one of my HID ballasts died after less than a month on the car...

Tried that lactation for my ham antenna buy the swr sucked only place it was great was the front bumper but thought it looked goofy. Looking at trying a different antenna. Currently have a predator 102 whip, external coil.

 

Yea I should have time to diddle it with the swr meter this week some time.

Just want it to be clear reception, not to worried about distance.

 

Talked to a few radio guys around me I might not be able to run a single antenna set up on the tacoma for 3 radios we think it's the composite box throwing things into wack

Maybe I'm missing something, but I have a 42" on the roof mounted to my Prinsu and have great SWR as do many others. 3 radios on a single antenna is kinda screwy though, at least from what I know which admittedly is not a lot.
