Borla Exhaust Debadged AFE Pro Dry S Drop in
I bought a 2010 DC long bed TRD Sport. I love it And have done some mods( Borla Exhaust, AFE pro dry S, rear tsb with front bilstiens @ 1.75) 2 things that are bugging me and i dont think i can get over
1- its an Automatic. I want a manual, does anyone think i could swap the trans. it would be awesome if i could do it through the dealer so it stays under warranty.
2- its 2wd. how easily could i get the dealer to put the locking rear diff on it?

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
    1) Probably better to trade it back for one with a manual. Not sure if they offer manual in LB trucks though.
    2) It's a TRD Sport so it has a LSD in the rear. Probably better to trade it in for a TRD Off Road, which already has a locker in the rear.

Yea might as well trade it in and get diff one.

One question? Why did you get it if you want all these other things.

Oh yeah, good luck trying to swap the transmission and wanting to stay under warranty. Something tells me it just doesn't work that way.

Was just on Toyota's webpage and the only manual available on a DC is a standard bed 4.0L 4x4.

Well, i really need a DC for my sons car seat to fit in the back. i really needed a longbed to fit my harley in the bed. i didnt think i would be doing an off roading but wanted a locker for "just in case"

Well I mean just cause it says "Off Road" doesn't mean it's for off road use only. It's just a different package.

If you want some traction control for "just in case" situations a LSD should be just fine.

Well, anything is possible if you have the right amount of money. I think the locking rear diff would be the easiest of the two.

I love my 6 speed. It's just not good for highway mileage.

    back to bone stock.
look around in the trail driving forum. some guys in 2wd trucks do some insane off roading. you'll be suprised. i bet you, once you figure out what you really want to do with your truck, 2wd (w LSD) will be plenty.
