Called DTD to see about price matching some Wildpeaks. The size I want 265/70/17 are now backordered nationwide. Wondering if maybe I should go a different size or wait. 2009 Tacoma Prerunner with fox 2.0 2" lift up front and riderite air bags in the rear. No rubbing issues currently with my Hankook Dynapro ATMs in size 265/70/17 mounted to SCS Stealth rims.

You are correct, there will be a Memorial Day sale the 3rd week of May although we don't have any details at this time.

I apologize for the long delay. I just kept forgetting to snag pictures for you. The treads are between 10/32 and 9/32 on every tire and they have worn evenly.

That's some nice and even wear!

I know it's different for each Taco, but what PSI do you usually keep it at?

Forgive me if this has been discussed. I've seen at least 2 sets of tires that have this cut line down the center of them. Anyone else have it or know what it's there for?

Just got my wildpeaks installed today.....holy shit these things are BEEFY! I thought they installed the M/T version by accident. Haven’t taken them off road yet. Highway (30 mile commute) there was no noticeable difference than the stock Goodyear’s.

TLDR; whats the consensus on this tire? Do they stay balanced? Are they loud midway through their lifespan? I like that they're available in a 265/75/16 without going E-rated.

To high in my opinion especially on the rears. I was keeping them at 34 and got more wear than i wanted in the middle of the rears.

    I'm back at door. 31ish.

Anybody else have out of round or balance issues with these tires. SimpleTire.com is crediting me for 3 tires for out of round. They cause vibration & shimmy at any speed over 60 mph. These are the 265/70/16 size. Going buy 4 new ones in the 75 series & hope they are good. 278BCB71-8C78-4D44-B89F-92C69B37FFCD.jpg

I’m about to pull the trigger on some 265/75R16’s but I’m so torn on the P rated or LT tires. I will be doing some off roading this summer in Colorado. However, my truck is 85% hwy and 15% off road. I have scanned back 30 pages and still can’t decide. What are your opinions or input for this? Thank you

Has anyone with P rated tires gone off roading with no trouble? I have read that the SL version was having premature wear, but I’m not sure if it was true.

Hmmm, I have 265/75 16s on my stock steel rims for winter and have steer wheel shake between 58-64 mph . Not real bad but your hand shakes at the top of steering wheel . I assumed it was the balancing ? My summer tires are also Wildpeaks 285/70 17 on Aluminum Baja wheels no vibes .
