Ok, first of all there are a ton of diffrent threads about what lift to use for O/R etc , but i couldn't find many that are geared toward everday driving

so i'm looking to lift my 08 TRD O/R and was wondering if somone could help point me in the direction of finding a suitable lift, this truck will be my daily driver for city driving etc, so i was thinking 6" for the best ride , and most likley 33's or 35's torn between the 2, i won't be doin too much off road with this truck other than the occasional trail ride, beach, or recovery operation, with that being said i will be towing a trailer with either a samurai of a pre 86 toyota pickup on it , ( yes i know another pickup is pushing max tow cap) so it has to look good when i take my other truck to trails haha , any help would be much appreciated

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
Not sure if you're being serious with a 6" lift with 33"-35" tires as a city DD with very little off roading...

    yea, DD w/ 6" and 35s...

if your a prerunner, you could do 4" spindles in front w/ either 5100s at 0 or 0.85", dakars in the rear, 33s. i run this on my daily and still get 18mpgs and a good ride.

if your 4x4, you will need a drop bracket lift, procomp, fabtech, rought country...or if yoru socal, you will need LT in front of your daily..:D

5100s and 33"s... anything else is too drastic for a DD honestly.

my truck is 4x4 , i wouldn't get anything else haha i was thinking 6" because most of the forums i've read were stating that 3" lifts were affecting ride , presonally i'm pretty sure that 33's with a 3" would be capable enough for my DD, but i don't want to effect ride , also keep in mind that i traded in a 05 ranger with 6" and 35" claws, so i know that any lift /MT tire is going to have an effect on my ride

    How would a 3" affect ride but not a 6"? Stick with a 3".

easy, less preload on springs w/ 6" lift. increased preload on springs=stiffer ride.

Either Toytec kit or OME kit with new UCAs for best ride IMO.

I feel the same way and my needs are the same as yours. I'll lift my truck in 4-5 years when it's all paid for. For now I can get by on most trails that aren't rock-crawler type hard.

I couldn't read what you wrote, it's too small can you please post in bigger font next time. :D

It will see a bit of off roading, but i'm going to have a trail rig so not alot of serious abuse, i like the have the ground clearance , when im up in MI, alot of places the ground tries to get out from under you.

here's some pics of my ranger when i had it on 33's, this truck probably won't get that dirty.
