Way sick......I love this. I'm a "light" freak with neons n led's n shit so this is a cool as hell idea man. Big props!

Ha that's clever and good execution. I just don't know how smart putting plexiglass and lights on something intended to scrape on the ground and rocks will prove to be.

The skid plate itself was the most expensive piece. MetalMiller has pricing.

Plexi sheet was $8 on eBay. 3M clear vinyl was $35 on eBay (I think). Paint was $30 for the Barcelona Red, White and Clear Coat. LEDs, wiring, switch, fuses, etc. ran about $40 total. Bolts/nuts/misc. hardware was less than $10.

I use it for everything. Ive never abraded through it, though I have pulled it off on impacts.

I put it behind my license plates, door jambs, used to put it as rock guard, but now they put it on at factory. Its also great for cell phones and stuff too.


As for the skid plate. If its your thing, its cool, juvenile, but if you're young.. well.. then it fits. Well done at any rate.
