    I have this cb

    https://www.amazon.com/AnyTone-Smart-Meter-convert-Channel/dp/B0140QP3VU

Now let's get one thing straight it's not legal at all. FCC limits Am at 4 watts, this one will do 8 watts. You have to open it up, and do some soldering to make it line up with American citizen ban frequencies, and to switch it from 11 m to 10 m.

Now on for why I wanted to post this....it went under water while turned on. I opened the doors, and when the water ran out this thing was still on. Then we tried it while everything was dripping dry and it still worked!! Anyway. I though that was a pretty good statement to how well it built it is. The other plus is that it is very small, and I have seen reviews of people still getting 30 miles out of it.

    Got good news and bad

Good: If I go get 4 more seat mounts from a single cab, my new seats will bolt in!
When I took my old seat out, I found a $20 bill in it.
After removing all computers and cleaning them with electronics cleaner and treating them with silicone water proofer, all warning lights on my dash are gone.

Bad: When I mash my clutch, the throw out bearing sounds like what I would describe as men in top hats furiously smelting in early industrial england.

Hell I guess pull the tranny. Then I can cut threads in the breather hole for a breather hose anyway.

Can you not just add a breather tube to where the breather hole is already? I know you can on the Auto v6's just like the rear diff breather is done.

I will have to look again, but I am pretty sure the breather in it now is too close to the bottom of the tunnel to put a barb fitting on and have a hose that doesn't kink

    Hey, @trekker

I watched a pretty neat show on KLRU last night.

"Precision: the measurement of all things"

I really enjoyed it and think you would also. Only watched the first episode (I think it's a 3 part series)

Here's the trailer, just for fun.

    Have a good day all!!!

Anyway at the doctor, I have to have complete reconstrive knee surgery, with an MCL and ACL from a dead person. 6 weeks on crutches, 12 weeks in brace. And then 12 weeks of physical therapy.

No Australia for me this year

    Bumper hasn't arrived

It had been saying estimated delivery on 4-10...well that day came and went and nothing...I logged on this morning and it now says "We're sorry, but we cannot calculate an estimated delivery date."

It's been showing to be at the Houston terminal since the weekend...so I'm not sure what is going on.

I'm trying to be patient and keep in mind that we wouldn't be installing until this weekend anyway so it really doesn't matter what day it gets here...as long as it's this week. But - I'm also super frustrated and want answers on when it will arrive!

I know exactly what's going on. Moving the bumper and doing the paper work to get it to a delivery truck would require effort, and nobody wants to do cause they gonna get paid regardless if they do it or not.
