    not really. Works fine now.

It would take a lot of work to to make it in good enough shape to make last another 20 years though. And I really wouldn't use it much and don't want to spend that.

Its just a cool topper. Fun to get to have one and try it after wanting one for so long. Not gonna loose any money either!

@Blackdawg since you are testfitting for the first gens for the gfc and selling the wilderness will you be getting a gfc or possibly a deal on one?

Doubt I'll get one. And doubt i'd get a deal. Though its only been mentioned to me in passing a couple times about using my truck. Never had a real commitment or time setup.

Cost is just too high for me even if they gave me 50% off  Shit's expensive. And I still don't think it would fit my style with Frankenstein. Igor perhaps yes, but meh. Im not dropping that kind of money on a setup for Igor unless I just commit straight to Igor as my full time rig. And I am still leery about how it would affect the handling in corners...But id want to test that myself to determine that. Will be anxious to hear Brett's take on it.
All about compromise and what setup has the short comings you're okay with. The GFC would be my #1 pick for a topper/camper setup hands down. Just not sure Im good with it. Seeing photos of one opened up with the sides fully open looks awesome though.

That said, I do hope I get to go there and check it out and see a few in person. They look awesome in a lot of ways.

I do want to talk to them once they are in full swing and comfortably pushing units out about making just the topper a bed rack available in different heights for folks to mount RTTs too. I'd be cool with that to have something sealed off with aluminum sides but not quite as tall and hold a RTT.

It’s not out of the range of possibilities. I have family in Helena and was just there. I have more family in Dillion which I’ll pass through on my way to moab in end of May.

Not yet. He doesn't turn 16 for a bit so I told them I would keep an eye out for others until they were ready. If nothing else's comes up I think it's a go.

Sold the 4Runner though. Decided to go full on rebuild with the D4D and have just one project to focus on. Rings were just out of spec so going to re hone it and put new rings and crank/rod bearings in

Kid at my church is turning 16 later this year and his parents want him to have a manual truck that his friends can't drive lol. I told them I would fix it up a little and sell it to them, but would also look if we could find him a better deal by then.

    1st gen DBCSBD4DFTW. I can't wait

Idk, we will see. Although I'm confident in my research and planning so far and believe I can make it happen time will tell. Kind of paving new ground here, have all the wiring road maps it's just going to take time. Too bad Wyo only has 5 digit plate.
