    I recommend some death metal..

One time I answered a telemarketer call and a minute in said "I know this voice from somewhere". 30 seconds later I said "no, I know you". I finally said....

"I KNOW! YOU'RE THE ARSEHULL WHO'S BANGING MY WIFE WHEN I'M AT WORK!!!"

I am glad my boat can only cost me so much, getting a nice big boat would be cool and all, but I wouldn't use it enough to every justify the price and upkeep costs. I have access to a nice boat my father owns and could go out fishing, tubing and skiing etc... whenever I wanted to, I just don't like how boats turn and feel when steering. I know I'd fuck it up somehow and have to eat a big bill. A little metal boat I can crash into rocks and drag around is just my speed. :turtleride:

When I had my f-150 I got "white lightning" as a loaner quite a bit. Didn't even have a radio, let alone blue tooth, among other useful things (like a working horn). I learned to enjoy the silence and either let me brain go dead or had some time to think about things going on in my life or what I wanted to get done that week. I wouldn't want it that way all the time, but sometimes the silence is nice.

I'll do that occasionally, usually its to listen to all of the noises my truck makes. My Tacoma is not a quiet highway cruiser lol. I have a friend that would go on like 10 mile runs without headphones, I joke that I wouldn't want to be left alone with just my thoughts for that long haha.

I'll routinely switch my radio off to make a phone call (even though I don't need to with the bluetooth; it's an old habit) while I'm driving, and then go a couple of days before I remember and turn it back up. Whenever I'm out splitting wood or working in the yard I don't listen to the radio, and most of the time when I'm in the house I don't listen to it either. The only time I really have it as background noise is when I'm puttering around in the workshop. I don't mind being alone with my thoughts, though. Usually I've got something simmering on the back burner in my head and working without background noise lets me sort it out. :notsure:

Does anybody know how to perform a system health scan? Since I was rear-ended, my BSM hasn't worked. Insurance isn't willing to shell out the money for a new monitor unless I get a health scan performed to prove the monitor is bad vs. it being out of alignment. Insurance is only quoting 0.3 hours of labor, but most dealers are charging $120+

Oil injection is great until the oil pump fails and the engine seizes... I had that happen on an old 2 stroke dirt bike and I've hand mixed every since.
So... what you're saying is, it has begun!
I'll do that on my commute fairly frequently, especially in the summer. I love listening the the engine noises.
I could never run with headphones. I hate it. When I used to run regularly, I never had them in. I also won't run on the street, only on trails so I enjoyed the scenery and you have to pay attention so you don't roll your ankle.

Sometimes I enjoy a drive without the radio on. I find the noise of the engine and road relaxing, as long as nothing sounds like it's about to fall off.

I haven't been running in a while but whenever I decide to, its on trails. I hear it's better for your knees than pavement but I do it mostly because it is nicer to be in nature. Plus there is no shortage of trails in NH!
