    Try sublimation printing for flags, a buddy of mine just made some car flags for his 80 that look pretty good.

    It makes me appreciate how good we have it when I have to sew something just because threading a needle can make you want to murder someone. I mean people once did all of it by hand just to have clothing to wear and they for sure didn't have Netflix to watch while they did it.

    For.... fun? Does she also enjoy the idea of papercuts and tile grout cleaning? (No dig of course, but MAN my idea of fun is not making clothing, I don't even like to use a needle to put a button back on a shirt!)

    That's her thing. I get it. It's a creative outlet. Being a maker. She'll often see clothing in stores, see the price, then have that thought of, "I can make that myself."

    I'm like you though. I lose a button on a pair of pants and those pants basically become dead to me.

    I still want to buy a sewing machine some day because there are things that I would like to be able to make myself for camping or whatnot that other people haven't made, or stuff that I want a certain way.

    Hell, I still wear the same pair of cowboy boots that I have owned since like 2006 because I have sewed them back up when they have started to fall apart.

    We each have our own little niche. Clothes are something that I hate buying... I wear something until they fall apart.

    Thats how it started for me. I saw how expensive kydex holsters were and thought there’s no way I’m paying that much for some plastic, so I started making my own holsters. The same with the SS tumblers, I wasn’t going to pay $50-60 for a cup with a simple design on it.

    I'm right there with you. I've thought about taking up sewing to make my own line of backpacks. Simply can't find what I want or it's stupid expensive. But my wife tells me that would require some expensive industrial machine due to the nature of heavy canvas.

    @Misplaced Nebraskan says, “I hope it’s @ChadsPride because he’s really cute.”
