Be careful, while not illegal, tampering with a safety feature gives your insurance a reason not to pay a claim. I know many cars have a traction control disable, but ABS mods are another issue.

Lol. Ok. I'll go ahead and put that at the top of my "things I don't give a fuck about" list.

But thanks for looking out

More for if the girlfriend drives the truck. But I can't even see it because the steering wheel blocks my view. So I guess I don't really need it but since I can't see it, the masking tape let's me find it by feel so there's that .

Yeah, I hear ya, it's all BS. My wife used to work for USAA and they were always looking for reasons. Quick disconnect sway bars? Claim denied. Suspension lifted? Not safe. They will take your money, but drop you when need them. Anyways, stay safe.

Funny. USAA has gotten my back on every auto and home claim I've made in the last 20 years.

It’s not like you’re disabling the brakes altogether. The ABS on the Tacoma is crap almost put me in the ditch a couple times. Pumping the brakes saved the day!

I shift down while using brakes enough to not make it vibrate... Hate when it does that! But that's when it vibrates. Works. Just last week it almost put me in hill side w/ a plow coming straight @ me. Quick down shift & grabbed back traction. & good to go

Changed my front diff oil and washed the ol girl(2nd time this week). The front diff oil by far looked the worst out of the rear and transfer case. Gray and almost clear when the sun hit as it was draining. Feels good to have fresh stuff in there.

Does your truck have the skid plate underneath? Would that help protect the Fumoto valve?

I have the TRD-stamped skid from BPF, but it doesn't go back as far as what you're thinking.
I do need to get a longer skid to cover the Fumoto nipple (which is visible here):
