I saw this over on Pirate4x4 and thought of you guys. I have never been up that way. But I know you rock stars hit those trails up. I just hope your willing to give back.

Norcal crew this is an awesome way to give back. I was part of a cleanup in Hollister Hills this past December and it was a great event. I think we should get as much support for this as possible. I'll definitely keep an eye out for this.

This sounds great I will be there 4 sure. I am real close to there and have had quite a few rides up there. Im in Redwood Valley just west of there. So do I have to sign up on the other site or will this be good enough. What will the times be and Do I need to bring another trailer?

This is an excerpt from Pirate...

"Meeting time will be at 11am saturday the 22 at Oak Flats campground. We need a couple trailers, we have one large, one small. We will be bbq'ing there for everyone. Then we will divide into 3 groups with bags and hopefully a trailer each. one crew will go up as far as they can go and start picking up working there way down, one will start at the bottom and work there way up, and one in the middle will work there way down. I dont know how we will dispose of the garbage yet since the dump will be closed by the time we get done, and on sunday. if anyone has any suggestions, please fill me in.

Am I the only one from Sac wanting to go help out? Would like to get a carpool going for this. no need for a bunch of use to each take our own trucks and it would spread the cost of gas.

 

Yea, I'm not going to have any gas money until that Friday. I'm willing to ride with anyone.

 

Hey I have a small 6.5x10 trailer and my truck. I can be up there to help as well. Do I need to bring the trailer or not? Let mem know cause I can get to the Dump on Monday if need be. I live in Redwood Valley.

Im thinkin about making a trip up to my dads. Elk, CA (south of mendocino) and then just going from there on the 22nd.

 

Hey Galen. Yes, according to the Pirate thread, they will need another trailer. I'm not the OP but I'll update my third post with the roster of everyone going. Again this is for May 22nd. Thanks to everyone so far that have replied!

 

Not sure I will be able to make this if we dont get a couple others to car pool. The wife lost her job last week and It will cost me over $100 probably just in gas.

 

put me down as a maybe. ill find out more info after this weekend.
