I would probably go with a long bed and a camper shell instead of a RTT. Other than that it all stays the same. I loves my taco. :mudding:

I would have no issues buying my truck again. Its my First truck i have owned (Celica GTS, Integra's, RSX Type S were my previous vehicles) and I have never needed a full size truck so the Tacoma fits my need's perfectly! I would definitely buy another DCSB Off-Road again.

BUT if the 4Runner TRD Off-Road had a Black Headliner, PTS and Dual-zone climate control. then I would go with a 4Runner no question. I love my Tacoma and I have no regrets purchasing it. DCSB fits in my garage (granted a 4Runner would fit even better!). It basically came down to which interior did I enjoy spending time in. The 4Runner is more roomy inside, but I am not a big guy. 5'8" 160lbs, so its never been an issue for me haha.

No, I would have gotten a tundra. I started hauling way more stuff and the hills by where I live I could use the extra horse power. Either that or I would have gotten a 4runner with a supercharger. Hopefully magnuson will come out with a SC soon to solve this problem.

I love everything about my tacoma so far.... I love the manual transmission, Heated leather seats are nice, I like the backup camera and sensors....

....except I’m trying SO HARD to love the color. So hard. I was faced with either waiting 8-12 weeks for an order or get the only one I could find with manual/premium/tech.

I really hope I grow to like the color but I fear there will be a really nice, garage kept, low mile CEMENT tacoma for sale in a year or two....

LOL he's right (OP) -- it's Cement. I had a few follow up convos with my salesman since they had lost my 2nd key and he was working on getting it for me (he did, and overnighted it to me). After seeing the color in the sunlight, I actually told my salesman that I didn't love the color and he told me I was crazy (this was AFTER purchase, of course). He was surprised that they even had a Cement (in any trim/configuration) since they're so highly sought-after -- especially with Manual/Premium/Tech. He assured me I had a "unicorn" of a Tacoma and that if I didn't love it down the line, SOMEONE would surely take it off my hands lol. I took some solace in that for sure....

We'll see.... I put on the faux-grille (which looks awesome), just did the tailgate letters an hour ago, and I'm going to paint the flares and front piece black to make it look more like an Off-road. I think the added black accents will help break up the sea of Cement and hopefully make me appreciate the color a bit more because, like I said, I love everything else about the truck!!

Went from 800hp of 6.7 powerstroke to my taco. Find myself driving my dads truck more often, especially when it comes to my side hustle, and needing to be able to use a gooseneck.

Just give me about 6-12 more months and I’ll have another lol. Having my dads 250 still really helps when it comes to doing man things.

Ahh gottcha, I read that prior post wrong. I bet the flares black would make a world of difference. I have a Quicksand Off Road and love it but when I see the color on a Sport with painted flares and bumpers I absolutely hate the color. Funny how a few little things make all the difference.

This forum gave me buyers remorse after one week of ownership but now no regrets as I’m more than happy with what I have...if I spent more time on here before shopping I would’ve definitely gotten the pro!
