Have you seen the episode of King of the Hill where Boomhauer falls asleep in his inner tube, floats downtown, and ends up committed for 72 hours as a result of a misunderstanding?

Boomhauer calls Dale, not wanting Hank to find out, and tells him that he's at the "booby hatch." Dale responds by asking if Boomhauer means the gentleman's club or the mental hospital...

That one had another General Motors SNAFU, the 700R4 automatic transmission!

 

Snafu doesn’t even begin to describe that

 

And unfortunately, all GM trucks except the HD models used it until 1992!

There used to be a white square body Suburban I used to pass by (parked in a driveway off of a main street) almost every day growing up in Pakistan. However, it said Silverado on it instead of Suburban. Would you guys know why?
