DANG! Your Tacoma is already a beast within such a short time of owning it and you've already have plans for the Ute! The Aussie's sure have some great products for heavy-duty overlanding.

At least your mods are definitely for a good reason considering your SAR job. How often do you end up having to go out?

And yes, you posted in the better thread. ;)

I'm in Kittitas County, WA, which has everything from the steepest (legal) ski run in the US to high desert terrain. It's truly a year-round endeavor.
We usually have about 30 missions a year, so we're pretty busy most of the time.
The wildfires the last two years have complicated things tremendously, as you can imagine and this year has been particularly bad for avalanches. We usually have one fatality in the state annually; this year it's 7 so far.

I reckon the truck will never really be "done". VHF radios going in tomorrow, and of course the supa-fun task of antenna routing. (ew). The Switch-Pros box has too many unused inputs, so i'll have to find some flashy things for that.
    More pics to come, obviously.

    Thanks for what you do!

LOL - You're not the first person to say that there are too many unused slots on the switch-pro and that it needs to be filled.

    Looking forward to the pics!

    Very nice Geeder!

I did a benefit for the EOD Warrior Foundation a couple years ago. Incredible group of people....carried their logo to the Arctic Circle too. (back side window)

Something looks different about the front end of this truck. I can’t put my finger on it, but it’s almost like it’s a cross between a 1st gen. Maybe just the angle.

Ha! I’m afraid I’ve done no body work on this one. I’m gonna have to go with camera angle trickery.

Also, you were real deep in this thread to find that photo.

I'm somewhat new here, and I just noticed the Inferno thread! Here are some pics from Sedona a few weeks ago.

For the most part, I have found inferno to be one of those colors that you cannot truly appreciate in photographs. The “magic” of the color will get lost in the translation. Especially if not clean, nor in the right light.

Those are great photos. Truck looks really at home in that environment.
