Morning y'all! Heavy traffic on rt 2 today, but I ain't mad since the forecast says Saturday will be mid 50s and not rainy! That may be warm enough to do some truck work. Maybe.

Agreed! I used to go to high school wearing jeans and a polo with an undershirt in 120° heat! It was a uniform, so I didn't have much choice, but still.

70 is chilly to me. I can enjoy it, but it's not relaxing like 90 is.

Agreed! I enjoy Thursdays because it is my last day in the office, and it feels like Friday Eve. If work is dragging it is a big red flag.

Did you get any from the missus recently? Because that can turn your whole week around!

Probably the biggest reason I'd want a full size. Although I could regear and go to 35s for a lot cheaper and the same results... Cabin size is the second biggest. Fitting 5 adults comfortably would be nice. Right now I can fit 2 max. Including me.

And if you count this past weekend as recently, then yes. If you are talking about in the past day or two, then no... sadly. Truth be told, she won't put out when I'm in a grumpy ass mood anyway, like I've been lately.

 

Some days I do see more tractors go up and down my road than cars. They're pretty big tractors, probably wouldn't see over them.

Only way to get there is to communicate! I've accomplished crazy things by being open and honest with my girlfriend. I'm a big fan of talking things through. As long as you can be civil about it and keep your statements to "I" statements, it can only get better through communication!

 

For sure. We have done that... but my grumpy ass mood doesn't help with the communication.

 

Onto another subject... apparently today is national grilled cheese day.

Safe to say lunch and/or dinner is planned?!

 

Meh. I have to be in the right mood for a GC sandwich. And it has to be accompanied by tomato soup. And cut diagonally, lol.

 

Make it happen Noel! It's a quick and easy lunch/dinner. Likely dinner at this point because of work, and probably already have a lunch you brought.

 

Hahaha you’re not wrong I guess. I have a huge corn field across the street from my house and then the mountains are right there. Plus probably close to 100 acres of conservation land behind me.

 

I've already got a ham in one slow cooker and a batch of baked beans in the other for tonight's supper.

Maybe tomorrow can be GC and tomato soup, since it's supposed to be rainy/sleet-y here. I can mix the soup tonight and let it simmer all day in the crock pot tomorrow.

Put a slice or two of leftover ham and a slice of tomato in that grilled cheese and then you'd have a great sandwich.

 

Molly changed my grilled cheese ways. She grills one side of both slices, then puts spicy mustard on the grilled side of one half, and fig jam on the grilled side of the other half. Then she will put in cheese and grille the outsides a bit. Sometimes if there's a lot of cheese we also throw them in the toaster oven to melt the middles, but usually the stove will do it.

Damn they are amazing grilled cheese. Damn. Now I'm hungry.
