    I think that it means that you are on your own if it needs a frame replacement.

    Personally I wouldnt. but I bet you can get a great deal on it for being a salvage

    Definately not worth what is being asked. Salvage title means its been totaled by an insurance settlement. Someone bought it from the ins co for pennies on the dollar and made it look pretty again.

    Around here 1st gen tacomas with salvage titles go for about half their normal value.

    Yeah i wouldn't touch it for the price. I got an 05 with 80k for 8500. It also had a salvage title. The only thing wit salvage title i would take it to a shop and have them check it out and make sure everything is okay. Also see what caused it to have a salvage title.

    I was thinking in that range or even in the 7k range. He is asking WAY too much. A salvage title could mean all kinds of things. One of the worst being a flood recovery. I wouldn't bother especially if he laughed at your 8k offer. That is a good offer.
