    @Reh5108 and @Blackdawg

Here is what the pulley looks like. I can get it off the bracket just fine but it has these two pieces pressed in that I can't remove...

    15235529060191783566163033123985.jpg

You can see it is two pieces but they fit in the bearing race super tight so I can't just pull them with my hands. The bearing is really loud so it needs to be replaced.

    1st gen audio guys:

I have an extended cab with the factory speakers and I wanted to get some opinions from some of you who have an upgraded system (audio) in their extended cab trucks. Sound clarity wise any reason to even run the rear speakers? I feel like they are too low and far back below the front seats to really add good sounding and performing noise to the cab? Basically I’m trying to determine if I need a 5 Channel amp or a 4 Channel Bridged.

    aw okay.

Looks like the outer part would press off if you had a press. Hopefully you can do that. Doubt you can get that pulley anywhere now. Alpine is dead now right?

Alpine is alive and well, they even still make the kit and sell it but they're in South Africa so the wait is very long haha. I just don't see how it would press off, those slug are in the way of each other. On the other hand a second gen idler pulley looks like it would fit perfectly so maybe I can get one of those at an auto parts store.

That does look like a tricky one. The center piece kind of looks like a dust cover. Can you get a knife and pry it off?

I have 6x9's in the back cab and when it's just the speakers up front it sounds incomplete. Even with their location it helps round out the sound by pushing more mid/lows than what is capable up front.

Are 2.5 dirt logic coilovers decent. There's a set that needs rebuilt on Craigslist for $50.

Sounds like they will be better than OME. One of the rod ends is stripped and there kind of looks to be pitting on the shaft. The other pic isn't focused on the shaft so it could be dirt.

After paying for a rebuild they wouldn't be worth it IMO. Save that money for a new/better setup.

    Very wrong

Those are SAW's with a different color anodizing.

Usable for the $ needed to be 100% but if you need shafts or rod ends your SOL since AFE bought the shock line.

That's what I'm seeing in researching.

Any estimate on what a rebuild would cost?
Let's just assume it needs seals and the rod end and that's it.

    That's it. Thanks.

What was the shock that was icon's precursor more or less?

Icon was started because Donahoes CEO went to prison for child porn. Company went under and the employees started a new one.
