I would rather have my own backup vehicle than do a rental.

I just have to give it a month or so to recoup the funds spent on the 2nd vehicle.

Alright gamers. I need a new headset for my xbox. Damn thing dies on me the other night. What do you suggest? Want something nice that will last. Seems Turtle Beach is to be stayed away from with the reviews of their high end sets. Looking for nice sound quality and a mic that works well. Budget is open but would like first hand reviews.

 

idk Xbox, but all I know is don't buy one that plugs into your controller because as it loses battery the function of the headset goes down lol.

Xbox doesn't do that like PS4 does. I use the same headset for both and that only happens on PS4. Not to mention, my Xbox controller uses AA batteries so that helps a lot. Even when I used the play and charge kit I never lost headset when batteries died. It works as an all or nothing setup.

 

That's all I've used so far and never had an issue. I also have swappable rechargeables for mine so it wouldn't be an issue anyway.

I actually have these and have no complaints about them other than any other complaint I have about these kind of headsets.....I'm hot natured and my ears get damn HOT! haha. These have great sound quality, decent adjustability, and about a 39041234 foot cable that is absolutely unneeded and a pain in the ass at times.

 

I am still using my Razer that has an XB360 compatible mic but mic is not with XB1.

Astro A40s if you want wired. A50s if you want wireless.

 

I think maybe I just won the tag renewal award. I was at the tag office for under 10 minutes. That's got to be a record or something. That was for 5 tag renewals!!!
