I'd climb under there with a new bolt from any store and push that shock back into place before ever taken it to a dealer

Well... they replaced the bolt. Didn't charge me anything for it. Went around and checked the other nuts and bolts, too. Not bad. Kinda freaked me out when I saw the shock just hanging like that.

Think I should photoshop the blocks out of my picture then re-post it before anyone notices?

I swear I'm getting a leaf pack soon. :anonymous:

It came with 6. I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting four.

What a day. Had to go to banner elk to inspect a church at 1. Passed Richland road on way up, thought i might hit it on way home if i had time. I did, solo. Never go solo right.

    Part deaux........

Precursor, got home, wife said she had worst day ever, i said i bet i did, i listened to her, she listened to me, she agreed with me

So, made it through richland, heading out the dirt roads on the other side, i believe i was on samson when this happened

I thought U bolts immediately, but no. My driver rear came off and passed me and launched down into the ravine. Gone, 100 foot sheer drop. No going after that sucker. Lugs evidently got gone. So i had to swap spare with a pos stanly 3/8 socket set. All my tools in garage from leaf swap. PITA. Robbed a lug from other 3 wheels and put 3 on the rear and made it home. Some pics and dash cam. 2:00 in

    Lessons from today

    Check nuts, all nuts
Dont bother with a 48” high lift. Needed the 60 stretched out to get rear high enough to get new tire on
    Carry tools in truck
Something to chock a tire, i had bricks
    Check nuts, and lugs

    Nut check.
