Has anyone had wheels and tires shipped from mr wheel deal to canada? I see that he uses ups and I have had nothing but horrible luck with them shipping to canada in the past with their duty fees. The offer on tires and rims that he has given me is 800$ cheaper than I can get locally so I am debating whether or not to go ahead with it.

Please share your experiences with mr wheel deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i am not in canada but a guy that i work with just turned me onto them... He said he had really good luck dealing with them. I haven't ordered from them yet so I don't have a first hand experience but since no ones responded I figured I would tell you what I have atleast HEARD.

    Good luck
    Jeff

That is interesting, i was looking at going through Wheels Next in the States, i believe they ship free to Canada (i have to look into that more). A lot cheaper that buying at KalTire here in the Peg. Rims i still haven't made up my mind on yet but i am probably getting Nitto Terra Grapplers and at KalTire they wanted $320 where as Wheels next they were like $250. With the dollar nearly at par and free or low shipping it seems like a no brainer.

I might try and get a quote from Mr Wheel.

i would def check him out, his prices are awesome, thats where I went originally was kal tire, and mr wheel deal was 800$ cheaper. I was starting this thread in hopes of finding out what the duty fees coming across the border would be.

    two things:

-Heights has a write up on how to clear customers with UPS, thios saves you a huge chunk of change when shipping across the border. http://www.winnipegheights.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32347
-Another idea is so ship to Pembina and then drive across the border to pick them up.

I bought a set of tires from the sears in Grand Forks. They have a price match +10% policy. They matched Tireracks price on the set of Grabber AT2's that I bought. They beat the price and that came installed on the vehicle! Unlike tirerack which still needed shipping and installation once the tires arrived.
