It’s a work in progress. The flash manager wasn’t available until recently.

 

OK, so how would one go and get the NEW flash manager?

 

Wait til 1.04 to drop and Matt to update the flash manager link on page 1.

There was a while where I was doing 2-3 per DAY but I’m typically about 3x a week.

 

If you are concerned about towing, its good to realize that in addition to whatever real or imagined issues remain with the AT tune, the lack of engine braking may well be an issue for you depending on your circumstances. Or not.....

 

I heard back from the Dealer and they're claiming they can't replicate the issue. Mine only really does it when it's cold. The dealer only had it for 2 hours so it probably didn't cool down enough for the issue to present itself.

 

Does the tune eliminate, or lessen, engine braking?

 

Is there any Tacoma world discount by chance

 

Bought the Tune and also got a new Asus laptop specifically for this. Wiped it clean with a fresh updated Windows 10. Hope customs can find it in their hearts to release Mats dongles . In the mean time I am happier with the truck now that it has 4:88 gears

 

No the truck just sucks at engine braking to begin with. I haven't gone anywhere lately to see if it’s changed at all but it was on the list of things to look into for improvement.

 

i hope 1.04 fixes the falling on its face coming out of turn. it's getting really annoying now and it does it all the time or im just waiting for it every time i come out of a turn.

 

I accelerate around a corner, never had an issue with it not taking off after.

Maybe someone can record it?

 

You are probably one of the exception. It literally jus happened to me a few minutes ago. Making a right to the ramp and pressed on the gas pedal and....nothing.

 

Doesn't happen to me either. Is this happening to all years of trucks or just 2017 and newer?

 

Guess I'm an exception too. Accelerates hard out of corners.

 

I have 2017, 04B03 ECU, doesn't happen to me either.

I do find the truck wanting to shift to 5th little too early, especially if I am light on the throttle. On the flip side, it wants to shift into 4th too late. And I think the 3-4-5 shift logic change in the upcoming release will resolve the issue.

 

This is the same as mine. 2017 04B03 OR, Made in Mexico. Vin starts with a 3, correct me if I'm wrong.
