I paid 160 for Astro a50 open box new when eBay did a coupon.

The Xbox version will work for both Xbox and ps4. They have the voice and game volume adjustments

Sometimes the wiring can get a little weird when you use a headset. I have to run mine off of the optical output coming out of the TV because I don't have enough inputs on my DVD/amplifier combo.

cable box--HDMI--Amplifier--HDMI--TV--optical audio out--Headset

 

Maybe it just need some more spray paint for you to see it.
