Great looking truck! How are you liking those HD Dakars? I'm on the fence between the heavy or medium packs right now.

 

Just get HD if u don’t like it take a leaf out

 

Yeah, that's what Marie suggested when I asked her. I'd rather not remove or add if I don't have to.

 

I have the el095r and they are fine for me and ride nice (and my thrust angle was spot on) but I don’t carry much weight (just a spare). I’d say if you plan to carry less than 300 pounds they will be great.

 

Thanks. I think this is the way I am leaning. My only plans for the immediate future would be a steel bumper out back; if I add more weight in the future, I guess I could add a leaf or even swap out packs if needed. I just don't want the acceleration induced bro-lean I was getting with my last truck with the 3-leaf AAL pack, but I also don't want to have too much of a Detroit lean when sitting normal. I worry about the heavy pack sitting too high or riding way too stiff without weight. I know it is more about function over form, but I also want to take the look and daily ride into account as well.

 

As mentioned there is @EatSleepTacos ,there is also @DOUBLLD who is in sterling, and @TacoFMS who is somewhere south of BFE
I have seen all three of their cmc and all are capable.

The girlfriend and I are pretty set on the GFC camper so I'm probably gonna sell my prinsu in the next few weeks. It's for a double cab. Will include all hardware. Painted rustoleum satin black. Asking 400. Want to give local guys a heads up

 

@ready6delta is out the country but I know he would be VERY interested.

Mind giving him first look if you end up getting the GFC.

Yeah he should be back middle of May pending no issues. If I am able to reach him from work, I will let you know. But I know he has been talking about prinsu for a good minute.
