Nice man that sounds good, should be a sensible upgrade as well.

haha yeah he did, I read his old thread and can see why. I have some ideas and I have some sheetmetal suppliers in mind that can make these for me. I'm just going to model some stuff over and get some quotes. If it's not too expensive maybe I'll offer them for sale one day haha

    appreciate it!

I've been pairing down what I got so I can only keep what I need. Almost bought a cabelas cooler but realized I don't need to keep ice for 10 days lol

David wants a smaller one night camping trip cooler and I’m trying to convince him that a small $15 one from Walmart will work great (I have one) but he won’t listen :goingcrazy:

When you do the steering rack swap, you’ll definitely want one of these to remove outer tie rods from spindle. I didn’t, thinking I’d just pop them out with a hammer and that was not the case. Took me 2 trips to the auto parts store to find one that fit.

Another thing I didn’t do when swapping was properly put fluid back in the system. You’ll want to top off the reservoir, and turn the wheels side to side with the truck off. Top off and repeat until full.

My TREs were changed last year and last summer when I did wheel bearings I had to pop them off, for me I put the Castle nut back on and pop it with a hammer and it's worked so far. My biggest thing to worry about is replacing the new racks bushings with poly ones lol

Thanks for all the advice man!!!!

Actually you'll learn a lot from a small cooler. I have the indel b 35liter as I know I can keep adding warm after pulling out cold and power consumption is lower. Also, you can freeze stuff ahead that will gradually thaw. Like water bottles. Keep it out of the sun.

I'm likely gonna pick one up before the sale ends. I've been eyeing it anyways, so this is a great excuse to buy it!
