Do not inhale. Just puff to taste the cigar. Also the first one will be harsh. If you want to take up cigar smoking go to a cigar shop and ask questions. Any good shop will talk to you about what your looking for. I personally like more of a mild cigar.

What was the cigar given to you?

Of course you inhale it, why else would yah light it

    Ashton makes excellent mild cigars.
Ifen you want to get far away from it after lighting, it’s more than likely a shitty cigar.
Don’t buy cigars at the local gas station, 7-11 or Wawa
Price doesn’t necessarily dictate quality, I’ve fired up some expensive sticks that didn’t get finished,
I’ve lit up some inexpensive cigars that smoked down to a nub and left you wanting more

    I’ve found consistent quality with
Ashton, Padron, Fuente, Rocky Patel, My Father, Punch, Romeo Julieta

I’ve had the la Gloria, they’re a good cigar
I might even have a couple in my humidor

I tend to stick the smaller ring gage as well usually 35-50

Been smoking Gran Habano - La Conquista's lately. Pretty good. I'm no connoisseur though. Just recently got into cigars. I quit smoking cigarettes almost 3 years ago now (a pack every two days, less if I was drinking). So I only do cigars once in a while.

Yeah I had quit several times between being 18 and now. Never for good like now. I still miss going outside to light up, so a cigar once in a while is a treat.

New cigar smoker here, tried a cigar from the New Orleans Cigar Factory (no clue what it was, Dad was the one who bought them) and enjoyed it, been smoking a few black and mild (mainly select, trying a few different ones as one of the kids I went to college with smoked them a lot and I remembered they smelled good), I like them but they burn through very quickly, which is very aggravating as I like to smoke when I'm working on the farm.
I'm about to order some from Warfighter Tobacco and I'm not sure what size I should get.
    The options are
    • Robusto 5x52
    • Toro 6x52
    • Double Corona 7x52
    • Rocco 6x60
    Does Size make a difference?

I spoke with a buddy of mine that worked for Holts, he mentioned that the bigger cigars sometimes will have “filler” that doesn’t make the cut for the better cigars. I tend to go with a 40-50 ring gauge it’s just personal preference.

Fired up a My Father the other day at the range,..

    Thanks for the info

I’ve never considered smoking at the range, the powder and cigar has to be a nice smell.
