    Wait...you don’t have the tune?

Let’s just say I smoked a v6 dodge magnum the other day down a 1/8 mile of road...with a lifted Tacoma with armor...true story

Um no. He knew it. He hit it when the light went green

His only issue was we were racing uphill. That’s how I was able to keep a vehicle length lead the whole way...oh yah and ECT was on

I know exactly what you're talking about and I figured out what it was, by accident. Dealer kept saying normal, but I told him my tranny or driveshaft was going to be trash before to long if that was true. What I found out was that there is too much play at the driveshaft spline/ yoke connection. So every time I came to a stop the driveshaft would slip towards the tranny and cause that damn feeling like someone was hitting at low speed from behind. But, when I went up 6.5" of lift I had to add a spacer. 4Crawler did the calculation for me but I also knew what others with my same lift had used. Added 1.25" and now all of a sudden that bump is gone. ??

Then your about getting about right for gas mileage but remember larger tires throws the computer's gas mileage off.

If you have the small USB dongle, the serial number is printed on one side. No need to have the vehicle.

I know i will probably start a ton of opinions with this but @OVTune setting this up for drivability is exactly what im looking for, some may agree and some may want a race truck. Here is what i believe would be a perfect tune:

    - smoothness of shifting and takeoff of 1.02C C shift
    - disabled transmission learning which matt fixed in 1.03
    - power and gas pedal feel of 1.03, not to confuse with transmission preference of 1.02 C shift
    - idle surging and cold start's resolved (which matt said was fixed in 1.04)
    - 3rd and 4th holding gears too high (again said fixed in 1.04)
    - resolve the issue of coming out of turn and gas pedal does nothing for a second, wasn't in 1.02C (some people say they don't have this problem).

So this is what i would consider a smooth daily driver that i would be happy with. Crossing my fingers!

I actually can't wait to flash for 91 on 1.04. I just need to get one more fill up on 91 octane

I agree with most of this. It's been well worth the money (like I said, I could NOT drive this truck stock anymore). Only thing I may question is the comment on 4th holding gears too high. I see the opposite where it does seem to hold onto 3rd for longer than is natural, I see it spend less time in 4th (specifically around town where I'd prefer it hardly ever see 5th).

All that said, it's damn close to perfect for me. Been in San Francisco for work all week riding around in Prius' - glad to be back to my OVTunedTruck!
