From Hazard Canyon south. Lots of rock and reef all the way down just takes some hiking sometimes. Theres a ton of places to try tho. Rocks north and south of Spooners Cove are worth a shot. Bring some extra leaders and a few weights as the rocks are sharp.

I just drove West. The fire damage is depressing. All of the pines and everything else is toast. Lots of new growth though. The road is quite rough on the western half.

I could see a few nice fields of poppies, close to Happy Canyon Road, and on Grass Mountain. Anyone been out that way? How's it look on Figueroa Mountain?

West Camino Cielo. It's a Forest Service road. It used to have a bunch of fun offshoots
I drove up 33 about a month ago. It looks like Mars until you get to the Sespe. It was nuts.

Grass mountain has a few poppy field patches! Very pretty right now! I’d say a few more weeks until it’s all brown. It’s spring in the valley! Green everywhere, flowers and budbreak on grapevines.

Never been out that road, but I've ridden Pozo. How is that road? Is the excitement for the road or the campground?

i've been up to it and turned off to the big falls road. never done the whole thing. The campground has been closed therefor leading to the road up it to be closed for a while now. I've heard the road goes into pozo. Nothing super technical but a nice little dirt road what i've been told. I live nearby and have always wanted to check it out but haven't been able to

it’s been on a couple of months. i’ll take it off soon to have it clear anodized & to install a different fumoto drain valve, then really tighten it down...we’ll see....nice skid tho huh?

Yes, nice skids. I did have a difficult time installing the gas tank skid. The stud on the driver's rear of the tank would not penetrate far enough through the skid to allow the nut to start, even using a floor jack as suggested. I had to loosen the tank strap bolt about a 1/4" and that allowed me to start the last nut. Way more protection than the plastic stock gas tank skid.

Saw this squeak issue mentioned on the TW Pelfrybilt vendor thread. After I installed it, I took it across town to fill up the gas tank. I crossed many dips and train tracks along the way, but didn't hear any squeaks. But, I did crank the four 12mm bolts pretty tight. So far, so good.

Do you have the IFS and mid skids installed?
