So I bought the JBL headunit along with all the speakers and amp. But I don’t have the wiring harness to attach the JBL amp to the headunit. Does anyone have one they are not using or know where I could get something like this?

You can make your own using connectors off Amazon and speedwire or ********* has them predone for $80 which is a decent deal if your not familiar with the process, have to solder at least a couple dozen connections

Ah I see now, trying to install the OEM JBL in your truck. The wiring harness they use is a doozy, I've tried bypassing that on a coworkers vehicle but the metra harness we used failed. Sourcing the OEM harness through the dealer would be a good bet but expensive. We ended up using an aftermarket amplifier and creating a harness for that.

There are aftermarket metra adapters for what you are trying to do but they were originally made for like 2008 vehicles and don't always work for long.

That harness is non jbl only. I’m in the same boat as op but with my 07 and trying to install a ‘10 JBL system in a stock truck.

You figure out a way to install it in your truck? I got a really good deal on the set up and want to use it.

Some folks are using this one https://www.amazon.com/Metra-TYTO-01-Amplifier-Interface-Harness/dp/B00133RCCC
No idea how to install that joker. The factory deck does not put out any power so you have to run it off the factory amp first as the harness is different so you cant use regular metra connectors like these to make your own harness

Honestly I would give Mr Marv a call as he is the guru on making harnesses, he made my connectors so all I had to do was solder it together. 1-831-383-0308

There’s a guy on here who’s trying to do the same thing that I’ve been in contact with for a couple weeks. He’s building himself a harness and is considering making me one as well. He’s not looking to make a bunch, because I can guess that us 3 aren’t the only ones trying to go JBL, so I don’t want to name him to get inquires but I will ask him if he wants to make one more as well. Pm me and I’ll let him know and get back to you. In the meantime while he finishs building his, I am still trying other routes. Trying to find someone willing to give me there vin number from a jbl equipped truck so I can properly call up my dealer and get a price on a new harness.

    A few minor things...
Please for the sake of your truck put the fuse as close as possible to the battery. The last thing you want is a wire shorting out and starting a fire between the battery and fuse.
