    Understood & agreed!

Only because 5100's are like the #1 shock on this forum & some people feel they are the end all be all. I'm under no disillusion that they're in the same class. This:

I'm not particularly looking for more lift, more so a upgrade to match what I have up front. On the front I currently have Icon 2.5 extended travel coilovers. I'm more of a go fast kinda guy when off roading, currently the rear tries to slide around a lot off road at higher speeds & it bounces constantly when on the highway. I'll definitely scope out what you did on your build thread when I get a free moment.
Now I gotta start looking at foxes & comparing them to icon :goingcrazy:. Granted I'm not really brand loyal, the icons I have up front just came at a good deal first and I'm happy with them for the money spent. Would Fox's 2.0s be a better ride than the Icons? They're both similarly priced so I could go either way, just gotta research them both further. I know either is gonna be quite better than my, probably blow or close to, stock rear but I realize neither will be compared to high dollar double bypass shocks.
    Shush you
Although after riding around in a similar area of Pismo with @digitaLbraVo on Icons & @Mike likes Tacos on Kangss, I definitely could tell the difference :anonymous:. How're you & the family, it's been a while. Your brother still have that LT tacoma.... it was a interesting build

Im currently with the BAMF relocation on king smoothie 12's with clickers. Its a solid relocation if you are doing SUA. If you stay SOA you can articulate the shocks more in a teetering sense, but only gain like 1/2 and inch of travel since your leaf pack geo doesn't change. If rock crawling cycling is your thing then go for it, but to me its a waste of money to get the relocation without SUA.

Stock geo SUA configs like the TC Mid travel kit can max cycle 12 inches due to the constraints of the factory width between the front and rear leaf spring hangers in case you wanted to understand the functionality behind the math on a basic level.

I'm doing 12" 2.5 triple bypasses with my archive kit. When you go from a 2.0 to a 2.5 body shock the collapsed and extend lengths change.

    King shock Lengths for reference:

    2.0 Smooth Body and Bypass:
    Travel: 12.0" Travel: 14.0"
Extended Length: 31.585" Extended Length: 35.585"
Collapsed Length: 19.585" Collapsed Length: 21.585"

    2.5 Smooth Body and Bypass:
    Travel: 12.0" Travel: 14.0"
Extended Length: 32.65" Extended Length: 37.25"
Collapsed Length: 20.65" Collapsed Length: 23.25"

The bigger advantage that is over looked with the Archive Vs. BAMF kit, is the ability to run a 2.5 body shock with the Archive kit. both 2.0 and 2.5 body shocks run a 7/8" shock shaft. In the 2.0 body shock that leaves 1 1/8" of remaining diameter for piston, valving shim stack, and shock oil. Now with the 2.5 body shock, this allows for 1 5/8" diameter for piston, shim stack, and oil.

So if you are going to stick with 2.0 body shock, then get 14" travel shocks with the Archive kit and 12" with the bamf kit. BUT if you go archive you are better off getting 2.5 body shocks and the go with 12" travel shocks otherwise the lower shock mount will have to hang lower than the axle (stock location) to clear the shock body and full bump.

*all of these shock options considered, you still have to address your leaf pack and shackles to achieve the rear travel you want.* that is a whole other topic - just my $0.02 on relocation kit and shock selection.

Edit: Also comes into place of Cost Vs. Benefit factor. Save money and gain travel, BAMF kid with 12" 2.0 Smooth body. then skip everything between and go to Archive with 12" 2.5 Bypass. OR skip both of these and bed cage, SUA and 16" bypass and LSK 4.5+ LT kit
