Would I be ok with these uppers running TRD sema rims and stock tire size, 265 65 17 with about 1 to 2 inch lift or will these rub?

How big are your tires? This gets me a little worried. I just got my arms in and run 265/75/16. Planning on only a minimal 1-1.5" lift. I'd hate to have this same issue.

I am running same size tires currently with no lift. You might clear no issue with that lift. I also have SCS Stealths with only 3.5 back spacing which can cause additional rub due to the tire sitting further outside wheel well.

You should be ok with that size. Lift doesn't do much to stop rubbing. It's your tire size and rim offset that make a difference. The wheel still has to move around in that fender space when the suspension is going up and down. Lift doesn't change that fact. If the tire rubs the fender/pinch weld at stock ride height while you're turning, a lift might alleviate the rubbing for street driving. But as soon as you stuff the tire, it will rub.

That's why everyone trims fenders, hammers pinch welds, and/or chops the cab mount. It's the price we pay for bigger and wider tires. For 1st gens, the optimal tire seems to be 255/85-16 (33x10). Not sure about 2nd or 3rd. Maybe a 285/75-17 (33.8x11.2)?

So I can’t run the JBA UCAs with stock OR wheels and 255/85R16s?

All I'm going to say about the JBA UCA's is who knows if they will rub or not, there is no clear answer on this and I asked a similar question a few pages back with no response. This is the only thing keeping me from buying these UCA's at this point because I have no patience to play the try it and see if it fits game. If someone can provide us with some answers or a link to the info we desire that would be great.

I had that size with JBA but my wheels were off of a tundra, so slightly different wheel specs. Mine are 7.5 +15mm which equates to 4.84"BS. Yours are 4.98" BS, so only a 0.14" difference. I doubt that'd be enough to make a difference, but I can't say for sure. I never checked to see how close to the UCA I was.

Makes sense, would wheel spacers help? Half inch should put me at 4.5" BS?

EDIT: Sounds like the 1.25" spacers are safer, dont want to leave too little thread on my lugs.

Spacers would help. You could get them mounted and if you are indeed rubbing the UCA, then just buy some Bora 3/4" spacers. That'd clear it for sure.
