That's a lot of windshield time. Even if you do not take the offer, it's great to know you have options available. Good luck with your decision.

Not too hot with the temp or it will be a crumbing mess. I grill out front so it's funny, passers by always notice bacon grilling!

I have given up on the whole permit thing, it will happen when it happens, I am a bundle of stress right now and that is not good.

1/4-1/2" of ice by morning. 4-7 inches of snow tomorrow through Sunday with 40mph+ winds. Says travel will be impossible. Well no shit. Right up there with you will loose power with that much ice and then wind.

No need to jump off it is the +plus thing you can play in all of them, and happy belated birthday! I don't turn 60 for 6 more weeks or so, damn your old :D

    Low standards.

Good morning folks. Slept in this morning. Taking my scheduled 3 days off this week. Need to get taxes done and I just need to relax and reset. Start fresh Monday in summer mode getting up earlier and setting a slower pace but probably add more Saturdays to the schedule. I have a decent workload for the summer so it's just a matter of scheduling the dates and sticking to those. I have things to do that really never have an end so I'll just set time frames and work those. Somewhere in July I have some AML (Abandoned Mine Lands) project work to clean up old mining areas. Load old pipe, bury concrete, reslope and knock down old dirt piles. It's kinda fun. The idea isn't so much restoration but get the areas safe, clean and reduce erosion to enhance plant growth...lots of little windrows to catch windblown seeds from local plants. Add some small water catches for when it rain, that helps save water for plants and also attracts wildlife who have eaten the seed, they poop it out and helps reseed. Lots to do but no more break-neck pace. I think we'll actually get to start scheduling maintenance and projects better and stick to schedules longer.
