    I have a 2017 Midnight Black SR5 hood to swap with you. I like the scooped hood, not sure if it will fit or if the scoop will effect engine performance. I'm in Cincinnati. We could meet halfway from South Bend, say Indianapolis?

    The scoop is non-functional... it's just pretty. The reason folks like or dislike is based on looks and also some people have issues with the reflective glare from scooped hoods or the reduced vision from the higher forward obstruction. It's a love it or hate it item... thus the swap thread.

    Not that I'm aware of ... everything I've seen and referenced says 3rd gen are the same 2016-2018. You might find minor fitment issues, but that will be stuff you adjust in the install... gaps, hood bumper adjustments, latch, etc. I'd use masking tape to mark the outer edges of where the hood hinges contact the hood so that when you swap and rebolt, it will be "close enough" for a starting point. Just be careful on that "first close". I'd probably also mask both fender edges and hood edges, just to avoid accidental chips.
