I really dig these old Suburbans, especially like the brown variations.

 

Even at a funeral, I can't resist photographing a Tacoma, especially when I'm parked next to it!

And then after this funeral I'm probably looking at a full day of work at the bar. Tomorrow morning, bright and early, I'm taking the girlfriend to IHOP for breakfast and then to a car show at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey. We will stay there most of the day, and then I'm bringing her home and going to work again, probably for the entire night...

Then more work on Sunday followed by more time with the girlfriend...

At a funeral, babies making various noises do not bother time at all. It's the parents shushing them that gets on my nerves!

 

I wonder how hard it would be to put power mirrors in my truck...?

 

Don't know. But probably more trouble than it's worth IMO

 

Can't be any harder than installing a subwoofer and amp (that took 6 hours)!

 

And what about power locks?

I get that. But for me the whole point of a base truck was the no frills aspect. I did add intermittent wipers and fog lamps to both of my RC's. But it was the simplicity that I liked about them. Sometimes I really miss them. But I dig my Sport.

 

I have a 01 4 door 4 cyl truck. It is a super rare unicorn Taliban special, poverty spec. To find a 4 door truck like mine (225 tires), black gauges, no clock, no intermittent wipers, black bumpers and black handles, and no RPM gauge. I LOVE HER, more than my 6MT 17 PRO.

I love the honest and simplicity of my 01. I made no upgrades at all (equipment wise).

 

I'm probably not going to add any fancy electric shit to my truck. I've got A/C, intermittent wipers, and one hell of a sound system...

What more do you need?!?!
