If it was like $600-$700 then MAYBE I could justify it, but my damn $40 pop up canopy works wonders.

Yeah I love the foxwings, but damn are they pricey. I haven't seen one under $700.

I'm with you man. My King Camp awning works just fine!

Yeahhh, same here. Sometimes I get all caught up wanting cool shit when I really don’t need it. Like I could have gotten away without the arb compressor. “Yes I spent $700 so I could refill my tires in 8 minutes instead of 20”

Hahaha "budget build," eh? If I didn't need one for a locker then I would just roll with the Vlair 88 and be done. Which also brings up the question, "Do I need a $1000 locker when I can get an equally good automatic locker for half the price?" QTNA. lol

Haha exactly! Do I really need a locker? At least enough to justify a regear as well? The answer to this question is yes though :D

    The answer is also yes

Yeah as I get closer to having $500 towards a locker it will be very hard to not go buy one and move onto another mod. I mean I don't think I would be disappointed with an automatic locker.

Very small amounts if anything at all. Sometimes it sticks around for a few days, but that's only every few years or so.

Edit: nothing at all like y'all have to deal with. lol

I think a lunchbox wouldn’t be a bad idea then! Snow and ice is really when it’s not good to be locked. But I think if you hold out for an arb you’ll be happy you did. Because then you’ll have oba for airing up and down

Yeah but I could also get an ARB and have OBA and spend less than $800 saving $500+.

There’s too many pros and cons to this stuff and too many options. Like give me only one option and tell me this is the only one you need and will do everything you want. Why do there need to be 20 different lockers? Lol

Imo because he don't get very much snow the automatic locker could become more dangerous, because you don't have enough time to get used to snow wheeling with a stock drivetrain and then with a locker. So that day when the snow will stick, you are more likely to meet the ditch lol but still, there is a lot of good reviews, even with snow driving. just have to be careful

Yeah I might just need to take it a little slower than most and watch my turns. Which depending on which one I get then it should have a little slip in the turns. I think the traditional Detroit locker is hell in the turns but I think powertrax made turns a little easier with the No-slip locker. I would just have to be careful until I got used to driving it in the snow and keep plenty of weight on the rear axle.
