Yeah, that's why I have to reel myself in sometimes. No kids, no wife, minimal debt, just me and the dog. Not rich by any means, but I can afford to throw money at stuff, even when I shouldn't. My Tacoma is the perfect example. Do I NEED all the stuff I've done to it? No. It's gotten a little out of hand, but I do actually use it, so it's not just for looks.

I was honestly a little upset when the lady hit me, just because of the total cream puff status of it. I don't know why I'm so attached to the little thing, but I've really come to like this little car. Even though I look like Donkey Kong driving the damn thing.

Hey man, can't take it with you. We all get carried away. You're gonna end up with something just like the rest of us do. Something that's totally "you" that you'll never get the money out of that you put in, but at the end of the day, you can look at it and know it was all worth it. That's what it's all about.

My first thought when seeing it also, doesnt seem to fit the rest of the body lines.

I took my wing off my DA back in the day, as everyone did, this time around I'm keeping the GSR wing on my DC.

I had a Mugen rep wing for my DA which was never installed though.

If I was doing another DA I'd find the GSR wing with the brake light, a set of 90-91 bumpers, and the full OEM body kit, thin side moldings.

i already have the brake light in the rear window that i dont plan to switch out. other than that my wing and the gsr one is the same.

i think the 92-93 looks better :cookiemonster:

i sorta fixed the passenger window! half of the actual motor was missing and the window itself was held up by a screw in the track!

driver window switch wont roll it up now and it is slow moving anyways. any ideas besides a brand new motor if thats even an option?

appreciate the help. i went with an oem off ebay for the replacement already and its the tired motor.

guess my next bet is a aftermarket repainted pos :notsure:

Front end alignment today after replacing outer tie rods and upper control arms. then found passneger inner tie rod lock nut is frozen. not that big of a deal, i just need to straighten my steering wheel again is all.

waiting to hear back about a sunroof block off as well. i already cant stand that thing, noisy on the highway and open i get blinded from the sun shining in anyways.

still trouble shooting the master window switch for passenger control. just havent had enough time to really dig into it, and it would be nice to have an extra pair of hands.

also realized tonight that my car was originally isle green pearl! i had a small suspicion and picked at some flaking black paint to find a hint of green under. door jams are green too.
