Unfortunately I am going to have custom springs done now because extra weight. I called

    http://www.alcanspring.com/

Told them what was going on and am now ordering custom springs for my build. Extra 900+ weight.... so I will be selling my brand new Dakar’s with add a leaf ASAP once I get my others in!!

Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. I was looking at Alcan and Deaver. I’m going with Deaver because there is a distributor not too far from my house, both were similarly priced. For the rear swingout I really like CBI’s stuff but that’s pretty pricey for my budget. I have no doubt the quality is there but I can save $1000 if I go with Relentless fab. I called 4x innov. but they stopped making the swingout for the 1st gens because they just weren’t selling. I can’t wait to get a swingout on her!

Just got my custom built alcans in yesterday!! They are some nice folks, high quality products and all went perfectly!! If you add a rear bumper or need stronger springs than 600lbs over stock go with alcans! I went with 4” lift and 1000lbs over stock!

Just like other people have said, the paint and clearcoat on my truck, specifically the passenger side front quarter panel and small part of the hood by the antenna are done for. The truck was paid off years ago. I never plan on getting rid of it. I have seriously considered doing the bedliner on the entire truck/campershell. After seeing this, I think its time to do it. I have seen different liner's on trucks, like the Raptor liner, so why did you go with the Scorpion company? I had never heard of them until reading the first page of this thread. Your truck looks incredible btw! That back bumper is nasty

The are called husky long Jon’s. I cut them in half and self tapped screwed them inside of fender all way around. Make sure you start in the middle top of fender!

Kinda like a custom Jeep style flare they are supper tough and I can always do something different later on

They look great and in my opinion better then spending $400 for flares. Did you eyeball each one or use a template?

Cut the full length strips, marked each end dead in middle. The took a struggle edge ran a super sharp razor blade down end. Then it’s breaks right in half, then trimmed the ends once all bolted up to my liking.

Just curious, why are you using a hawse fairlead with a steel winch cable? Wouldn't you want to use a set of rollers for your fairlead?

How long did you have to wait for the springs? I’m about to order a pair of Deaver expedition springs. My stock springs are toast. My only problem is that I’m not going to have my CBI rear swing out for a few months and have to order the springs for about 750lbs+ Weight so the rear end suspension will be a little tight till I can get the bumper on there.

I waited one month, make sure you also get new u bolts and your shocks are correct. Measure maximum droop from hole to hole or you will ruin your shocks first time if you don’t do it correct. I am speaking from experience lol!!
Can’t speak on the deavers but i would get the 1000lbs Over stock ones. Mine works perfect any less mine would not be correct! They will be stiff until you get that rear bumper but well worth the wait they ride great!!

I’m going with the lighter bumper option. So far I’m adding weights to see what I’m going to be fully loaded and I think I’m at around 650+. I should probably call them and start bouncing ideas off of them. I did check out Alcan’s website and I like how you can punch in all the weight options so you know what springs best fits your rig.
