I just got those Wrangler Trailrunner AT's as well, but in 265/70/17. I'll post pics once installed tomorrow.

My vote for cooper at3s. Primarily used mine on pavement, gravel and wet, rainy conditions. Love em so far, but haven't put more than 2k on them.

Also, surprisingly snow conditions in oregon. Did great there too

I voted for Wildpeaks. I've got 265/75 16 on mine. Got like 5,000 miles on them. I wanted c rated tires and thought these were but found out after I got them they are p rated :)( messed up my notes or got bad info). Read lots of good reviews for them for on road and winter driving. The reviews on the KOs were better for off road but most of them are E rated and you take a hit with gas mileage. Since I do over 90% of my driving on the road as a daily driver I decided I'd go with a better all around tire and so picked the Wildpeaks.

^ this. I have the AT3's, they look great, are quiet and perform well. Mine have 30k on them and they hardly look used at all.

I voted for KO2. That's what I have on mine and I love them. I did a little driving in snow/ ice conditions in North Carolina last winter and they handled great. Can't drive over ice like an autocross racer in any tire but the ko2 handled it well. 90% of my driving is on road and the other 10% is trail.

You might want to look into Patriot Tires as well.

IMO, and i did say my opinion so lets not start a tire war, AT's are terrible in the most encountered snowy type road, icy and or lightly covered snow roads. If its deep snow, well thats a different story and the deep lugs will help you out. Best thing i ever did was move to michelin ms2's, which the little fingers are great in those conditions. Two things though, never used KO2's and hear they are good on ice, im sure others can chime, and the second if you strictly want an aggressive looking tire, MS2's are out. Third, MS2's are now defenders.

I believe the Wildpeaks are closer to a C ply tire, I have some documentation about them I will dig up.

These tires work on ice - Wildpeaks. I drive up mountain passes throughout the winter and they were awesome on the black ice and generally icy road conditions. Snowy roads they were awesome as well. A really good tire. Ymmv.
I drive in winter conditions yearly, for the past thirty years. Tried many tires, these work.
Hard choices, most of these tires today are pretty darn good. Good luck choosing OP!!! Cheers

Cheap, quiet, light, they drive like it's dry in the rain, look good.
Can't recommend them enough so far. 50k tread rating...

Been running these 265/75r16 Destination MT2 tires for the last two weeks.

Complete overkill for my normal needs. Heavy, E-Rated tire that has hurt my mpg a decent amount.

I love the way they look. Not overly loud, either.

That being said.....when it's time to replace them I'll likely go with a lighter AT version of that same size.

KO2s on the Jeep, love 'em. Falken AT3Ws on the Taco, also love 'em. Would've gone with the KO2s for the Taco but the Wildpeaks were about 10lb lighter and almost $100 cheaper per tire. Since the Taco is more for daily duties and getting me to my fishing/camping spots, didn't see the need to go KO2.

Haven't had the Falkens in the snow yet, but the KO2s have been good for me in snowy/icy conditions.

x3 here (well mine are ATP's, which I think are the same damn thing just a Discount Tire only version?). Been great so far, 20k or so miles on 'em. I don't do any hardcore offroading though and couldn't care less if a tire has tread pattern on the sidewalls to look cool so YMMV on both of those things.

I’ve had three sets of Michelin tires on two trucks and a car. All three sets had rotted sidewalls by 4 years old before the tread was anywhere near worn out. Bummer for such an expensive tire brand. Other than that they perform very well. If you put a lot of miles on they would be a great choice.
