As anti-establishment (except against the church!) as Utah is, I'm sure it is pretty simple here too. We just voted to get rid of safety inspections o_O

Was super happy the State killed the safety inspections. I'm not even close to having a passing set of mud flaps! Now I'm just waiting to get pulled over by UHP....FML!

I agree that silly stuff like mud flaps, or having a windshield wiper that needed replacing (but you have to buy theirs or you gotta come back!) is not an issue any more. But I have seen some junkers on the road now, that are DEFINITELY a risk to us all.

I generally agree. But I had a friend that failed the 50% coverage rule cuz some cranky old inspector spent 5 minutes squinting at a tape measure before failing him. Not sure where I would draw the line personally, but that just seemed ridiculous.

I agree, if I could find a nice set of Toyota mud flaps, I would drop the coin for them

Yeah that's my plan. I have a truck and trailer place 40 miles away, but they want over 100 for two mudflaps..... and no where around here that sells conveyor belt.

Did you try a truckstop? Most of the bigger TS's have parts shops and they're readily available, pretty cheap if I remember correctly.

If you have a feed store near than horse stall mat is about $45 for a 3'x5' piece.

Hey has anyone here messed with mounting a solar panel straight to the roof of a truck? In Australia we glued some to the top of our fridge trailer with some stuff called Sikaforce, still holding great. Was thinking about using it on the cab of my truck but can seem to find it over here.

Seen a few people use those flexible and self adhesive golf cart panels. Regrettably I haven’t kept up with them to report on the longevity.

My roof is dented up anyway where a limb landed on it, I think I am gonna try it out. Does anyone have those Renogy panels? If so what are your thoughts?
