Happy fckng Friday the 13th.

 

Got it installed, went to Lowes on my lunch break to get the screws and (deez)nutz that I needed.

I like it, its sturdy, easy to install... thinking about getting a smaller arm for the X-grip to go on, maybe.

mine is small, I think like 2", maybe 3"

 

The double joint isn't a bad idea, I was just thinking something a little shorter would be nice so it wouldn't be jutting out quite so far from the dash. As long as I can rotate it enough to face the drivers seat, it should be fine.

Let's just say that I don't own a silver vehicle, but.......i do own a blue vehicle.

Parked in the back 40 at Wal-Mart and a guy in a brand new jeep decides to park "downwind" right next to my driver door. 50 thousand other parking spots around.

Opened my door to the middle notch, climbed in and the wind grabbed it like a sail.

Waited 20 mins for the guy, he finally showed up. He said he shoulda parked on my passenger side and he parked there because it loomed like I take care of my car.

Needless to say I felt bad, and he felt bad. We hashed it out, told him to go get some estimates and I'll pay out of pocket.

 

At least you got that. I see horror stories posted on the local bad parking/driving pages that ppl end up in physical altercations and won't accept fault Lucky!

He told me he thought about leaving a "nice car" note. Lol.

Poor guy said he didn't want any money and didn't want me to turn it in on my insurance.
He was just going to take care of it.

I insisted that he get me some quotes.

I was so traumatized by it, I decided to take a vacation day and stay home and mow.

 

I have a friend who hit (lightly) a door on another car and she waited for them to come out. They lost their shit! Tried to pin a whole lot of mess in the rear end on her (she had not seen that old damage) and then got in her face over it. The funny part? Lady called the cops, and there were witnesses to the incident! And apparently the cop was the one who worked her rear end accident in which SHE rammed into someone backing out of a spot.

I would need alcohol after that mess.......................

I was just kidding about being traumatized. But hey....3 day weekend!! wo0t!

Honestly, I rarely see asians in Greenville which I find odd. I would think this town is big enough to have its own Asian community.

Still fermenting in the bottle. Cabbage, onions, peppers, garlic.
I'm eating it because of issues with my liver. Nothing short of a super food.

 

Throw it in to some fried rice and you got spicy kim chi fried rice. Delicious!
