Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

The thing about a Prius is that there’s always one in your way. And the damn driver is trying to get 100 mpg!

 

I find the opposite here, they think they are getting great mileage so are doing 95 in the outside lane the entire way

 

Great point, when towing I tend to spend most of my time in S mode anyway. Not sure others agree, but I still think D and engine braking for some off road applications is good. But a perfect world is indeed both the enemy of good AND expensive.

 

Definitely not the same thing here. Always in the hammer lane going exactly the speed limit. Sometimes 4 of them running side by side in all 4 lanes. That’s called a Flying Prius Wedge!

 

I also see them driving them like a race car. I assume these are the pubes who want to both feel better about themselves but also feel as dumb as the look driving so they try to balance that to leak just a tad tetosterone.

 

Although, I must say that having a brake shop in the city (SF) would be very lucrative. Ubers be flooring it up the steep hills and slamming on those brakes nonstop!

 

True that and slamming their passengers all over the back of the car. Also, stopping right in the traffic lane to pick up a fare.

 

One thing I'd like to see which hasn't been mentioned in a while; S-mode holding specific gears (manual downshift AND upshift) rather than setting highest available gear.

Nah, all good. Always have business out there so I'm there every couple of months somewhere in the Bay Area. Love to visit - but thankful I can visit and still have my larger home back east that probably cost less than a small studio on the peninsula

 

I have not received an update about the dongles yet, but expect to hear about it any time very soon. I am also speaking with the developer constantly. I am very, very sorry about this unexpected delay.

a few things, if you would not like to wait please let me know I can refund you. It is not necessary to file disputes or chargebacks.
Please do not threaten me, several people now are threatening me because they haven't received their kits. I am trying as much as possible to keep everyone informed about the delays.

This delay was completely unexpected by everyone. The day the dongles were set to arrive they got held up for an unknown reason. They will clear through, sometimes packages from Europe get hold up for completely unknown reasons at the port. Again I am very sorry.

 

This is ridiculous and childish, and if you read this post and you're one of these individuals, I'm calling you out as a dickhead.

 

Sorry to hear about the issues some are causing you! I think it may be in your best interest to maybe stop pre-orders all together to avoid all these issue with customers and disputes. Just sell the kits as you have them available. It will save you a bunch of headaches! You dont have to worry about demand, these kits will surely sell like hotcakes at a ihop. @OVTune

 

Sorry to hear about the threats, thats just absolutely ridiculous! People please just chill out! You will get your tune kit as soon as possible! I get it sucks to wait for something you paid for but this tune is worth every cent and every minute you may have to wait to get it to you! Mat has done something for all Tacoma owners everywhere with this tune! It has made so many owners happy about there trucks again! Dont ruin a great product for other Tacoma owners with Threats! Grow up! Be a little patient or a lot if thats what it takes! Mat i would refund any one who threatens you and leave them shit out of luck for your product! Let them drive there stock tune trucks till they go crazy!

 

Yeah that’s not cool people are complaining about shipping issues. That’s out of your hands.

This is what I have done, I have closed down all orders. The pending ones are from just the batch we had expected to receive, and none outside of a dongle already accounted for. It just got stuck in stupid customs. This has happened to us multiple times with Fedex when something comes overseas. Just like when ordering Ecutek Kits from the UK. They release it after they calculate the fees they want.. every time..




Anyways I am deeply sorry for the wait, if anyone feels that I wronged you, or anything please contact me I will get you taken care of in whichever way possible.

Sorry to hear that Mat. I am one of the individuals waiting for this kit and will continue to patiently wait. I completely understand and I know you're doing your best. Although, it does suck that it happened when I ordered mine but s**t happens.
