Looks like the market will continue to tank. There’s no point in trump propping it up since Paul Ryan says he won’t seek re-election, which pretty much solidifies the changeover to Democrats.

More volitility to the downside upcoming. Orobably a few positive days here and there but looks like the downtrend since February 1, will continue ( from my humble opinion of course)

it was so much easier last year, when you didn't have to worry about the market yanking your individual stocks around :pout:

    BPTH is still killing me.

I think I’ll sell my UAA though since it’s over 17 again today

I might be up 3% today! Hopefully tomorrow doesn't erase it all in 5 minutes.

Glad I sold off my UAA yesterday. Still holding on to BPTH. I’m just gonna have to accept I’m taking a loss on that. Hopefully next week it’ll go back to 1.80 so I don’t lose as much

UAA doesnt look good for longs.. short term trading maybe. But I looked at there 1y and 5y chart and it looked very bad. Kinda like go pro. Just over valued because people who know nothing about stocks buy those stocks. Like the "buy stock in companies you shop at" mentality. It's the same with Tesla as far as I'm concerned. Overvalued just because people buy it because they've heard of it. I picked up Square because it's been solid, but I think that might be over valued too. I don't plan to keep long term. Of course, I owned Netflix back in 2011, wish I never sold it. I may just stick it out.

I bought at 16.61 and sold at 17.04. Only had it for a week and a half. Didn’t see it going anywhere and it just kept fluctuating between 16-17 so I said fuck it. Made a few bucks off it

Yep, if their business model remains the same, I wouldn't expect it to change much.

I just wish I had bought all UAA instead of mostly BPTH. Would have made a decent amount real quick. Live and learn!

Yeah. That's why I'm a strong advocate of watching a stocks behavior for a while before jumping in. Sometimes they do weird things, but usually they have price levels they will fluctuate in (tweets notwithstanding)

I'm setting up a sticky note to sell thursday afternoon. This is so consistent it's ludicrous.

    It is, until it isn’t..

Which will be eventually, patterns like that don’t last forever!

I'll be damned if Investopedia didn't just reinforce my worries.. lol

    8. Friday Trading
Even if you're a "buy and hold" investor, a significant number of retail and institutional traders typically liquidate their equities on Friday (usually in the afternoon), so they don't have to hold their positions and assume risk through the weekend. What does this mean for you?

It means that stocks can and often sell off Friday afternoon during the last few hours of the trading day, if for no other reason than traders are looking to go home "flat" (without positions on their books). Keep this in mind on Fridays if you are trying to find a favorable time to enter or exit a stock position.
