I don't know how that could be. The only changes between 2005 and 2015 were merely cosmetic.

Certainly nothing that would make it more "fragile" than previous years though.

I've used my on board air to blow my cabin filters out before. Amazing the amount of shit that makes it all the way to the filter. Full-on sticks, inch thick moon dust, a few feathers from a bird I legit murdered somewhere in Nevada on my Prinsu...like Randy Johnston style savagery!

I hit a bird one time in car at 90mph, I saw it come out from the bamboo, hit my car, then I looked back and just saw feathers. Luckily there was no damage to the car, didn't even cut through my clear bra on it!

It hit the narrow ridge on the middle of my plano case that the latches lock to. That small surface area at ~80 MPH...that bird didn't stand a chance.

Ive almost hit a few birds, and luckily that was the only one I hit. 2 of the other ones would have it my windshield, IDK if they would have gone through or not...

When I was a freshly licensed hooligan, I hit a TURKEY in mid-flight on a dark, narrow, tree lined road at night, haulin ass in my dad's Ford superduty tryin to make curfew...

Hit the top tube of the brush guard with a very loud "PING!!!" and then spider-webbed the entire windshield. Had to drive the last 11 miles home with my head out the side window, sunglasses on with all the light bars so I could see anything at all.

I didn't make curfew...and had to pay for the windshield...BUT my dad was concerned enough about my safety and the truck being ok, he didn't ask why I missed my time hack!

...he probably coulda guessed...he always knew...

Dang, I have never had a windshield be so bad I couldn't drive, about a month after I got my truck (i got it used in February of 2016) I was driving to work, a rock got kicked up by a car and chipped the very bottom of my windshield. It began to run and I got mined (it had run about 6 inches up) so it wouldn't run any further. During the winter of 2016-17 in southern Louisiana it cold cold during the night then hot later in the day a few times. It went around the mine and ran about 30ish inches. The run is starts in front of me and runs right in front the passenger. I never got it fixed because of how far I drive everyday.

Not surprised. It was an enormous turkey at high velocity. Birds will wreck the fuck outta your truck...or airplane...
