Line output converter for subwoofer

    I'm sorry if this has been answered in other threads, I searched but did not find it in the threads I read. I am trying to hook up a line output converter to my stock trd or head unit, not the jbl system. I have an amp and subwoofer I'm trying to add and have most everything set up, but I don't know what to do with the remote wire, and do not know if that is the only wire I need to plug into the head unit. I am an audio noob so any help is appreciated!

    I've been told it's plug R29 pin 6 but can't seem to match any diagrams up to what I'm seeing, anyone know what to do?

    There are plug and play harnesses available in the marketplace. I have had a recent run in with a supplier that has one so I apologize for not being willing to provide a name or part number.

    Do some research and you should be able to find what you need. Sorry for not being able to help further.

    Thank you, I'm hoping to find a wire to splice into or an empty pin to use but if I can't I'll be ordering one of those

    $5 METRA 70-1761 Radio Wiring Harness For Toyota 87-Up Power 4 Speaker
    METRA 70-1761 and
    $11 71-1761 87 - 94 Toyota Vehicle Harness
    71-1761.     Those are two parts numbers provided to me from another TW member. I found them on Amazon and they are basically the Entune radio side and the Toyota harness pigtails. In my case I am joining the 2 with solder and shrink sleeves and tapping off for my Kicker hideaway powered subwoofer. I am using this for line level (high input) for the hideaway. I haven’t looked into whether I can use this harness once completed for the remote turn on feature. The hideaway can use DC offset from the speaker input for turning the powered sub on.

    This is one option or like I said there is at least one company offering a plug and play version with only the speaker wires to be connected to your sub. That same company offers a remote turn on harness as well but I didn’t really look at it.

    OME 3" lift MK6 wheels 285 Fierce MTs & 4.88s!!
    Go to Amazon and search "add an amp Toyota Tacoma". There is a plug-and-play solution that I used to get RCA connectors. It works very well and is easy as pie.
