I will be doing the same soon, except for transmission. Plus I need to change my plugs. I don't have a garage so makes it's a lil harder to plan when to start with the weather lately

Easy. Get new gaskets from dealer. They are like $0.35 each. Make sure you get the cirrcor size Allen key socket for the tcase, get the gear oil and pump and go to town. Just make sure to remove the fill plug before the drain plug on each. Don't want to have an empty diff and realize the fill plug is seized.

Even though my MT tires are lighter than the AT tires I had, I can definitely feel the rolling resistance more.

I know, I know, but I needed a half ton.
I’ve done it twice now, takes a couple hours but isn’t hard at all.

I paid 7k, very reasonable... especially knowing there's not a spec of rust on the vehicle.

Edit...starting out with a conservative lift, only 1.5-2in which I'm told will still fit 35s with no rub. And maybe a minor beatdown of the pinch weld.:D

I went to buy a Bluetooth microphone for the Vette’s new stereo and ended up going a bit crazy and ended up getting a front and rear switching camera setup.

I upped the insurance so once I get some free time I’ll dig it out and get it running again.

T minus one week for new wheels/tires. Wondering if I should have gone bigger than 265/75 with the Pro suspension but I had zero desire to potentially cut the truck.

Ran the dash cam today and it made me really wish I had a fuse panel inside the cab so I didn't have to snake wires through the firewall all the time... so I'm putting a fuse panel in eventually. It's just plugged into a Cig light for now.

Ah yes - I am only taking into account what I have in my basement right now...

Oil change is on the list for tomorrow along with finishing the roof rack install I started today but ran out of light. There were actually mosquitoes out tonight... kind of caught me off gaurd - they were out for chinese food too.

For my oil changes every third change I go under and drain it - normally I use a vacuum system to extract the oil through the dipstick (it actually gets more oil out than a drain and fill). Thankfully the filter is up at the top.

Have you fished the Westfield much? What branch of the Westfield are you fishing? I have fished the Gorge a handful of times but don't venture out that way too often. I have fished the Swift a handful this year, I try to catch at least a fish every month just to keep busy in the winter.

I’m new at fly fishing. But there’s a couple spots in Westfield and Russell that I know of off rt20. I’m going to be checking out another new spot which is on an off shoot of the Westfield I found! If you ever want to go shoot me a PM. But again, I’m new at fly fishing

So I got my little sister a 06 Corolla last year. Auto trans manual everything else. Manual crank windows and locks it’s a time machine. So this week I got a line on a newer car 08 Camry for a steal with all the electronic fun stuff like cruise and power windows. But it has a manual trans (she can drive my truck and knows how but never owned a man trans). My friend says she can drive the car for the week and see if she wants it then it goes on Craigslist. She swaps cars and leaves me with hers. Fucking thing was 3.5 quarts low on oil, her Evap canister is broken in half, and brakes are toast.

Brought it to my friend a Toyota tech, guess that motor is going to be fine. It has a leaking oil pressure sensor hence the low oil level. But WTF the CEL came on 2 months ago and she didn’t call me. Didn’t notice the huge puddle of oil it must have left at her parking spot. So now I need to buy a new Evap canister, brakes and sensor... Good news is she wants the newer car even though it’s a 5spd. Sooo anyone want a cheap corolla.

It’s and 06 176k auto trans, manual everything else. Year old tires Probably $1500-$2000 depending on fixing the Evap canister and oil pressure sensor.

You do have a fuse box in your cab.
    Power it from the inside.
    Just get a fuse doubler.
I'll send a you link tomorrow. If I remember...
    Dash CAM uses like 5W.
    No worries.

I'm not a fan of fuse doublers. I prefer a properly run fuse box. In addition it wouldn't only be for the dash cam (which will be set up to run 24/7 unless the voltage drops a certain amount on the battery) but it would be for a number of other accessories. I plan on re-writing my entire setup sometime this year.

I already have a fuse panel in the engine bay for external accessories ie light bars, rock lights etc and will use the new internal fuse panel for the cb, electronics charging, heated seats etc. The bed fuse panel will be hooked up to the snomaster fridge, on board air and my bed lighting/USB and cig ports.

Yes I go overkill when it comes to wire organization. I have independent modular harnesses for my current undergo bussman relay/fuse panel. It was only a matter of time my OCD kicked in about the cab wiring situation.

If only! Reason insulating my house will cost so much is partially because I'd have to rewire the house. I still run the original 1912 knob & tube wiring. It's fine if you leave it alone, but start putting insulation in their & my chances for the house burning down shoot way up. :-( Kinda adds $30k - $60k to the cost of insulating - LOL.

But I am slowly rebuilding my windows! Much less rattling now, less drafts too.

I don't fly much because I fucking HATE the TSA and airlines so I might be missing something here...but, buy a real ticket? What is your time worth? I would sacrifice quite a bit to not spend two days in an airport for no reason. Shit, rent a car and you'd have been home or almost anywhere in the country by now.
