That's what I was thinking, how much does flying standby save you? Or are there just no tickets? I would have to be flying free for me to wait that long in an airport!

Can't beat free, and yesterday was kind of a clusterF@#$ because it was the first day of spring break around here. Tickets are 500+ so it's worth the wait in the long run. I've got an almost guaranteed spot on this mornings flight.

Maybe no tickets due to long weekend and school vacations taking kids to Disney

Not to be a dick, but you are pretty silly if you think two days of your time aren't worth anything and that is a free ticket. Not that two days of my time pay me $500 though, so you are probably saving money no matter how I calculate it! I just get frustrated in places like that easily and would rather skip whatever trip it is. Good luck, are you going anywhere fun? Hopefully you get out this morning and even get a good seat!

Ahh, I remember seeing those posts last night but was skimming through fast trying to catch up!

@ERMB Nevermind me! That's worth the hassle and should be a fun project! And just for my curiosity, how do you get the tickets for free? Friend work for an airline or something?

My KO2'S were only I think listed as being 2# less than these. I can definitely feel the MTs more. It's not terrible though.

Morning all! Nice weather today... :rain:

Well I'm not doing it for a living, which helps. Farmers are cynical pessimists for a reason, lol. Hobbyists do it because they enjoy it, and tend to be lighter-hearted about it. If they have a bad crop year in their garden it doesn't mean possibly losing their house, for example.

Sure the airport sucks, but probably easier than two days in a public school, not to mention 500 bucks is a good chunk of change when you work in the public school.

@bucktales, funny story: evidently there's a small fry in her class. And when they removed the skin from one of the fish, this kid went around the class with a hand puppet...

She stuffed a bluefish. No pictures unfortunately, the teacher kept it and is hanging it in the class room.
