Son is cooking bacon and eggs and just asked me if he could cook me some for me too. It is the little things in life that are good.

That Fenwick Ultralight looks old enough to have been around before the move from Litiz, Pa. to California. Or Little Tits as we called when I was on recruiting duty in Lancaster. Now they are in Iowa 2.5 hours from me.

Several limestone streams around here the DNR is begging people to harvest trout because the C&R mentality has them at carrying capacity and they can't get any larger. I do my part and secretly enjoy the look of horror on those in the C&R crowd that just don't understand.

Yep, the brown Fenwick is indeed older than dirt, as well as the Shakespere 030 reel(have 2).
I think they're both 70's vintage. Maybe the reel is around 79-80.:D

Well we did about normal on our taxes yesterday. Didn't have to pay but the returns, while not huge, are big enough I'd love to have them pay me interest on. Looks as though next year at least one of them is going to be bigger. I hate the thought of doing them quarterly but it would seem as though it's a better way of keeping more of my money throughout the year making some money...I need to fatten the nest egg for retirement.

That’s why I keep the blizzaks on until the night temps get to 40...I’m resisting the urge to swapover early currently.

    Goes good Bob. :fistbump:
