    Nice!
I can't wait for the streams to open up around here so I can get out after some brookies.

Previously when the garage failed my vehicle and told me I needed tires, I put on the cheapest thing one of the closest places offered. Now I realize I would rather spend my money more efficiently, I continue to shop tires for the Outback, also recon mission for when it's time for the truck. So any ways, I think I have found what I want
    https://www.discounttiredirect.com/buy-tires/yokohama-avid-ascend/p/43822

Just need to verify with what everyone else told me the would put on it. How much should I expect to pay to have these installed? I am sure many places don't like to do this as they aren't making their money on the tire markup.

Edit:already had the wrong ones. Need 17s,

If you bring them loose wheels, most of the shops around here will call it a 'snow tire changeover' and that'll probably run you $30-50. If you bring in the car, you're probably looking at getting charged full install prices and that'd run closer to $80, at a guess. That's ballpark; it's been a while since I've had it done someplace other than somewhere I'm friendly with.

With all that winter brine on the car, I'm impressed with how little flash rust is on the exposed metal.

My best friend did the Smittybilt one...the XRC I believe as it was cheaper and had decent reviews. My understanding is the synthetic version is much more expensive but I don't know the specifics as he went with the steel cable one.

The place I go to has no problem with me bringing my own tires and rims. I have them delivered right to the garage. The last mount/balance/install cost me about $95.

I just got a "snow tire change over" yesterday getting the new meats put on. It was $35/ tire to mount/ road force balance. I think like $25/ tire for regular balancing. The we was at the dealer cause no one else had last minute availability.

Next time I plan a trip, I will shoot a PM. I have been fly fishing for half my life but I enjoy getting new people into it almost as much as I enjoy catching fish. It has a really snobby attitude around it so I like to try and kill that. If you google millers river fly fishing blog you will see a blog run by an older guy named Ken, he is a good guy but HATES spinning rods and it gets old but he has a ton of info on the Millers, Westfield, Ware and Swift rivers.
