For those that need access to a facility to do wood, metal, welding, powder coat, blacksmithing or even vinyl and sewing check out the Foundery in Baltimore near the Hanover Street bridge.

Spent the morning on a mountainous hike in Paw Paw. You can barely see my Land cruiser in the parking lot in the one pic. And of course I took all back roads to get there.

The Grand Opening was very nice. LOTS of Jeeps. A few F150/250s and a few Toyota 4Runners & Tacomas. Josh & Lauren dropped by for a bit. Got to meet Tyler, RobP62, and some others (sorry, I'm TERRIBE with remembering names). I think we recruited a new TW member who we snagged in the parking lot as he was parking his new Cavalry Blue TRD Pro 4Runner - noice! Saw a Cement TRD Pro parked near us but didn't see the driver and when I left there was a black TRD Sport parked next to me. So if y'all read this give a shout out with your names.

Rob and myself took part in the Buffalo Wing Eating Contest sponsored by CHAMPS. I wimped out after 1-½ wings, Rob ate four before calling it quits (he won 2nd or 3rd place) and some dude managed to eat 14 of those death wings within the allotted 5 minute period - MAD RESPECT to that dude.
I took a leak just before writing this and it burned! Those were some FREAKING HOT wings.

I had 4 Wheel Parts do an alignment and that fixed my rub issue, $88 today only. MANY thanks to them for that.

There were a few give-aways, like a 9500 lb. Smittybilt winch, 50" LED bar, ARB tire repair kit, and one or two other items.

The prices at 4Wheel Parts were pretty reasonable. Close enough to online prices that if you need instant gratification you won't mind the small price difference.
I asked them how much a re-gear would be for my truck and they said somewhere between $1,700 and $2,400. I thought that was a very good price.
I chatted with some of the techs and they seem like good guys and didn't mind sharing any their knowledge and tips.

The weather was FANTASTIC and the Mission BBQ was delicious so for those who missed out - too bad, it was a nice time.

    The Dynamic Duo was there!

That ford ain't got shit on my honda! Hiked in the mountains for 3 hours today and now I'm cutting, hauling & stacking wood. Im getting more of a workout today than back in my gym rat days! Shower, NY strip & a cold beer is in my immediate future.

Yes, I saw you coming up behind me and I tried to get out of the 895 ramp but it was too late.

I was like Damn, the first time I finally see a Taco with a TW sticker and I can't make contact!

It even burns to piss! But your right Peter, they were just hot, not any good flavor at all! You need to smoke some so I can have some good wings!

    Great meeting you today.

I felt like shit when I got home from those wings but manned up.

Fixed the passenger side mat finally

    20180414_190949.jpg

Removed the pin stripes (omg what a pita) which came off a half inch at a time. But it worked out because I did a section at a time while my badges were drying between plastidip coats

    20180414_191001.jpg

    20180414_190936.jpg

So for me, besides the wings, meeting some TW Md folks, hanging and shooting the shit, and some easy mods, it was a pretty Fn great day!

Now to go get some ice cream to pack up my ass! :bananadead:
