I love it! Plenty of space with the rear facing car seat. There are some things I miss about the Taco but I can live with. Such as no shark fin but the old school whip antenna, the push start, touch to lock/unlock door handle, annnnnd seeing my MPG trip screen show a number above 20 when I turn the truck off. lol Overall it’s a great truck. Best part, IMO, those LED headlights!!

Did I quote your post? Lol if I did I meant to quote the guy with the AT2's. Looking into general tires their new ATX.

But I was half asleep so maybe I made this mistake. What tires are you running?

How hard is it to replace the front bumper valence? My dealer drilled holes for the front plates and I want to replace it

Slide In Camper Mods! The rear 5100's and the Firestone 2407's are in and give a real nice ride compared to the stock Hitachi shocks. I am wondering if I should install the single path compressor or return it for the the dual path compressor to prevent air going from bag to bag in the corners with a full load. Does anyone have a link on the air bags shifting pressures on TW?

I’m thinking of getting some also, right now have a single AAL and am happy with it, even for towing, but it still sags a bit when loaded down with heavy gear + trailer. I didn’t know about the air shifting on loaded turns - it would be fun to have the outside turn side compress while the inner one inflates! Don’t they have independent one way valves, even on a shared single path setup?

You aren’t done underneath there yet-
    • I suggest cutting those u-bolt ends a bit- they look long in the pic.
    • Is that brake line tight? Looks like it...
    • Can’t quite see if you did a dif breather mod, should look into that too.
    • We both need reroutes done also!
Don’t you hate it when people inspect your photo and point out other possible things to do? :)

What are you towing and how much dry weight. Looks like bags are fully inflated. Is that why brake line looks on the limit. Planning on a 4500 lb camper in the near future so taking notes.

30 minutes. There is a YouTube vid on it. (Replacing front bumper on 2016 tacoma by tacobandit) Remove the grill, inside of it on each side are two blue clip things, remove the clips, then start on a corner and pull. It’s held in by a dozen smaller clips that don’t remove. A trim tool can be helpful to get it started. Line up the new one push it in place, put back in the two blue clips, reinstall grill. Done.
It’s easier to get at the blue clips by removing the grill than going through the fender well.
I think you can by the part already color matched or flat black. Want to say I saw it somewhere for like $119.
I have a BBP one that I took off when I put my semi-hidden winch mount on. Don’t know what color truck you have but it’s yours if you pay for the shipping. Clean no damage. If your truck is black I have seen folks just buy the black plastic plugs from Lowe’s to fill the holes.
