Update: I see the 265/70/16 Cooper S/T Maxx are actually listed as being a true 31" tall (.4-.6 inches taller than most others in same range). Anyone have a pic of them on their stick suspension truck? Preferably 3rd gen TRD OR...

    T.I.A.

    Forgive the typos; iDevice...

TRDOR 265/70/16 with KO2s or Duratracs? Wish you went bigger? Share pics, please...

I do run the ko2s in the stock size and wished I had went 265 75 16 and with another brand of tire. The BFG are really good looking tires but I can't get them to balance. Ive been to three different tire shops and still have the same shimmy at about 60 mph.20180116_161323.jpg

    Mine are stock size too.
No issues here and I’m not really planning on going bigger for a while.

Its not the balance... Its the runout...

She's got an oblong tire in the mix....

Its this bullshit that keep's LT's off my Tacoma so far... I really wanted a set of the K02's.. But I know these tires are not the best for balance.. Same for Duratrac... Even the P version..

I can't really tell any difference in power, they do ride just a little stiffer. These are some really quite tires and I wish they would balance. I'm sure I probably just have one that's out of round but I am not going to have them trued.

Yeah I haven’t noticed any power loss either. Although that might be because I don’t know any better :p

I really want a set, but I'm skeptical... I had a set for a few days on my Sierra and I got the place to take them back... Same shit... Couldn't get them to balance...

I have and I spent over $100.00 having front alignment and road force balance done about 1200 miles ago with the same results. I thought maybe not driving it enough was part of the problem but that doesn't seem to be the case . Sorry for high jacking the thread.

Did they tell you how many lbs the tires were out?

When they perform the procedure, the machine tells them how many lbs the tire is throwing because its not perfectly round..

One of my stock GY all terrain adventure's is throwing 17lbs... And I can slightly feel it, but hardly... The sidewall is so soft...

I keep hoping that someone would make a C rated tire with some nice side wall lugs that would look as aggressive. I think the better tire manufactors are missing the boat on tires for these trucks.

For some reason the white letters out look alot better on the blue color of your truck.

I can't rember exactly, they gave me a print out that I have around here somewhere but I never really paid much attention to it. The people that did the work seemed to think it drove OK. I sure they were just trying to get rid of me so I would stop bitching.

Yeah I’m not sure if I want to black all the chrone out or not... I’m definitely going to black out the trim around the grille though.
